Preschool/Title Advisory Minutes
November 6,2020
Preschool Room Lewiston, NE
The meeting began at 10:00 AM.
Those present: Pandora Worthey, Allana Deane, Libbie Puncochar, Rick Kentfield, Becca Janssen, Linda Searcey, Cara Small, Courtney Elle, Rebekah Worthey, Mary Mosier.
The minutes were reviewed and accepted.
Allana Deane, the Title I Teacher, gave a presentation concerning the Title Program in Lewiston. She provided a copy and review of the parent and family engagement policies and the parent compact.
The preschool teachers presented that through outcome reports a majority of students were meeting or exceeding expectations.
Cara Small shared upcoming events and spoke about the NECPRS training calendar.
Libbie Puncochar, the Pyramid Implementation Facilitator, shared about the Pyramid model, and research about how the program impacts student growth and learning. She provided answers for what the model looks like, and how it can be incorporated into a school system as it aligns with the MTSS model, and current behavioral curriculum (second step) that exists in the school. Libbie shared that she can provide support to schools implementing the model in our area.
